The new F/A-18E Super Hornet is the latest US Navy fighter/attack aircraft that replaces the F-14 and the older F/A-18 A and C. Shortly after going into service with the first units in 2002 it flew successful attack sorties during Operation Enduring Freedom in Iraq. Due to the use of JDAM and laser guided bombs it can strike enemy targets much more accurately and also has an extensive arsenal of guided missiles of the latest generation. The F/A-18E is in practice a completely new aircraft, the airframe of which is 30% larger than that of the F/A-18C. Other modifications include more powerful engines, more fuel capacity and longer range, together with state-of-the-art displays in the cockpit and the new APG-79 radar. Model details: Detailed cockpit with instrument panel; Detailed ejector seat; Movable tail stabilizers; Detailed landing gear bays; Detailed landing gear; Flattened wheels; Detailed landing gear hatches; 6 wing and ventral pylons; ECM pods; 2 GBU-31 pods; 2 Mk 83 bombs; 2 AIM-9 missiles; 2 AIM-120C missiles; One centre line tank; Cockpit canopy with side struts; Detailed access ladder; and Super decals for 4 US Navy versions.
The ASK 21 is the most produced and most successful training glider in the world, manufactured by the company Alexander Schleicher. Worldwide, it is one of the most favoured training aircraft in the gliding sector, also due to its broad range of uses including stunt, training, overland and competition flying. Thanks to its low all-round weight, a higher towing level is reached when winch launching, compared to similar double-seaters, which allows for improved thermals. Serviceability, good flight characteristics and a solid build typify the 280 kilometer/hour fast ASK 21. Glass fibre synthetics are used in the centre deck section and T-tail, offering enormous bearing strength. The ASK 21 is capable of sustaining extreme loads of 4 to 6.5 Gs as a result. These values allow for a wealth of stunts to be performed, even including loopings. Model details: Detailed tail and wings; separate side rudder and elevator; 3 moveable wheels; highly detailed double-seater cockpit; moveable pulpit canopy; cockpit floor with steering columns; seat elements with belt imitation; detailed instrument panel; lever and microphone imitation; Super decals with various German markings: a Swiss, Austrian, French and Belgian version plus USAF and RAF markings.
